Mario the Magician (AKA Mario Marchese) is a seasoned magician with a unique perspective on magic and performing, combining new technology with classic techniques. He knows what entertains both children and adults, so his lecture will be of interest to everyone.

Mario performs magic shows for all ages, including stage illusions and walk-around magic in his repertoire. He has been performing magic professionally since 2004, and has been seen on television on the Discovery Channel and Sesame Street. Mario has also performed at such high profile venues as Lincoln Center and the World Financial Center.

Mario is also an artist and inventor who creates his own props and is known for his clever integration of Do-It-Yourself electronics and robotics into his performance. Despite his use of cutting edge technology, he also incorporates classic comic influences such as Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin. Its "vintage meets the future."

Mario was the subject of a feature-length documentary film ("Building Magic" http://www.buildingmagicdoc.com/) that opened at multiple film festivals to great reviews.

Please visit his website (http://www.mariothemagician.com/) to see what a great innovator and entertainer he is.

Please plan on attending this unique lecture, and let all your friends in the magic community know.
